Two Indian Army Officers Honored with the 2020 Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award

  • The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports awarded two officers of the Indian Army the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award 2020. They are Lieutenant Colonel Sarvesh Dhadwal and Colonel Amit Bisht. The award is the nation’s highest adventure sports honor awarded annually by the ministry.

Shri Ramayana Yatra train starts from Delhi

  • The IRCTC Shri Ramayana Yatra train on the Ramayana circuit has started from Delhi. The first train tour will include a visit to all the important places associated with the life of Lord Rama. US Presidential Special Envoy for Climate John Kerry formally signed the framework agreement on the International Solar Alliance during the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow. ISA was founded in 2015 by Prime Minister Modi and former French President Francois Hollande.

  • November 15 has been declared as Tribal Pride Day. The announcement was approved by the Union Cabinet.
