Applications are invited from interested eligible candidates who are citizens of India as defined in Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India on the standard application form to fill vacant positions in the establishment of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Majuli, Assam.

Qualification, eligibility criteria, and post reservation have been prescribed in the table, taking into account the relevant Government regulations as amended from time to time.

Qualification: Minimum qualification of class VIII/HSLC/HSSLC standards. You must know the official language of Assam.

How to apply for Assam 4th Grade Post Recruitment 2022 | Apply Now for 7 New Posts

1. Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria must apply on the standard application form published in Assam Gazette Part-IX and complete the form in capital letters using a Black/Blue Ball pen only. Paste one (1) recent passport-size color photograph in the box specified and submit two (2) passport-size photographs with the application form. Put the applicant’s signature in the box specified for signature.

2. The completed “Application Form” along with the age certificate, educational qualification certificate, caste certificate from the competent authority, and registration certificate from the employment office, in case of documents, are submitted

Apply through proper channel, Driver’s License (if applying for Driver position), Certificate of Experience (if applicable), mail to Chief Judicial Magistrate, Majuli, P.O. Session Garamur, Pin 785104, Dist. Majuli (Assam), or in the “Drop Box for Application” to be kept in the office of the undersigned. The candidates themselves must authenticate the documents submitted along with the application.

3. The applicant must write the name of the position at the top of the envelope.

4. Candidates must submit their original testimonials on educational qualification, date of birth, caste certificate, driver’s license (in case of applying for the position of driver), and work experience in later stages (if any) will happen whenever be requested.

5. Requests made in any modality other than the above will be summarily rejected without any communication.

6. The request must arrive at the office of the undersigned during office hours on or before 08.06.22 on business days.

7. The candidate’s age must not be less than eighteen (18) years old nor more than forty (40) years old as of 07.01.22. The upper age limit can be relaxed by –

i) 5 years for ST and SC candidates, i.e., up to 45 years according to Government Notification No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated Dispur, September 2, 2020, issued by the Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.

ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, i.e., up to 43 years according to Government Notification No. ABP.6/2016/52 dated Dispur, September 2, 2020, issued by the Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.

iii) EWS candidates will be required to submit a certificate of family income and assets issued by an officer who is not lower than the rank of Circle Officer as provided in paragraph 5 of Government Office Memorandum No. ABP.07/2019 /4 dated 31.02. 2019.

8. If candidates apply for more than one (1) position, they must submit separate applications for each post. The selection board reserves the right to select a particular post, and the board’s final decision will be final.

9. Applicants already in Government service should submit their applications through the appropriate channel. They will have to produce NOC at the time of document verification and the order issued at the time of incorporation of the current employer if selected.

10. Candidates applying for the driver posts are required to sit the driving test conducted by the District Transport Authority, Majuli, Assam.

11. TA/DA candidates will not be admitted to appear at the Screening/Driving Test/Viva Voce etc.

12. Applications that are incomplete in any respect will be rejected without assigning any reason. Any application received after the last application submission date by any means will not be accepted, and the authority will not be responsible for any postal delay.

13. The candidate will be responsible for any errors made in the application form.

14. Candidate will be responsible for any error in the application form.

15. Individual cover letters will not be sent to eligible candidates. However, the list of qualified candidates for written test/viva-voce/driving test, etc. has been released. It will be uploaded on the official website of the District Judiciary, and candidates will have to download the admit card from the official website as per instructions.

17. If any candidate is found to be campaigning directly/indirectly, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
