According to the latest SBI research report, India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is likely to grow at 5.8 per cent in the third quarter of the financial year 2022. India’s economy surpassed pre-pandemic levels in the second quarter of 2021-2022.

A special court on February 18, 2022 awarded death sentence to 38 out of a total of 49 convicts in the 2008 Ahmedabad bomb blasts case. The remaining 11 convicts have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
