Sanjeev Kapoor has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Jet Airways. His appointment will be effective from April 4, 2022. Jet Airways is set to resume its operations this summer.

As per the announcement made by the Indian Premier League Governing Council announced on March 3, 2022, RuPay Tata has become the official partner of IPL 2022. RuPay is a flagship product of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). This will be a multi-year partnership.

National Safety Day is celebrated every year on 4th March. It was started by the National Safety Council to raise awareness about all the guidelines on safety measures including road safety, workplace safety, protection of human health, as well as environment. ,

Australian cricket great Rod Marsh passed away on 4 March 2022 at the age of 74. He suffered a heart attack in Queensland last week and was in an induced coma at the Royal Adelaide Hospital until his death. He played 96 Tests for his country in which he scored three centuries and claimed the world record of 355 dismissals as a wicketkeeper.

India will begin their campaign in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 with their opening match against Pakistan at the Bay Oval on March 6. The Women’s World Cup 2022 will consist of 31 matches, which will be played at six different venues in New Zealand.

New Zealand is hosting the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 from March 4 to April 3, 2022 at six venues. Eight teams including New Zealand, defending champions England, India, Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies will compete in the Women’s World Cup. and Bangladesh.

Hardik Pandya has been directly downgraded from Grade A to Grade C. The senior all-rounder has been in and out of the Indian national cricket team in the last season due to injury. Another senior player who has been downgraded to the Grade C central contract category in the form of Shikhar Dhawan, who is now involved in ODIs only.
