Suman Berry took over as vice president of the new NITI Aayog on May 1, 2022. that Dr. Rajeev Kumar is the head of the government think tank. His appointment follows the sudden resignation of former Vice President Rajiv Kumar on April 22. Rajiv Kumar’s term formally ended on April 30.
