IBPS Employee Reasoning Ability Preparation Strategy: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued a notice to recruit staff for Clerical positions in 11 participating banks across India. Any eligible candidate aspiring to join any participating bank as a clerk or in a similar post in that cadre must register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP Clerk-XII).

The online written exam will be of two levels; that is, the online exam will take place in two phases: Preliminary online and Main online. Qualified candidates shortlisted in the online preliminary exam will be required to sit for the leading online exam. Candidates who qualify on the Main Examination and are of sufficiently high merit will be selected for temporary assignment to one of the participating banks.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2022 pattern

This is the complete detail of IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern. The IBPS Clerk exam pattern is as follows:

The exam will be of objective type and the question paper will be in English language only. There will be questions from General Awareness, Reasoning Ability and English Language.

The duration of the paper would be 1 hour with a total of 100 questions. No negative marking for incorrect answers.

There will also be a separate section for descriptive type questions, which are not multiple choice but are to be answered by writing short essays on the topic given in the question paper.

Subjects covered in this section would include Indian History, Geography, Polity, Economy and General Knowledge (both current affairs and events).

The reasoning Ability section is essential in IBPS Clerk 2022 Preliminary, carrying 35 marks. Candidates will be asked 35 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) about Reasoning Ability.
