The Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, in the foothills of Mikir near Brahmaputra’s southern bank. Kaziranga has attained its status which is more than a National Park; it is now a well acclaimed Heritage Site of the World, which provides a picturesque view of the wildlife habitats located in the Southern Asia. A brief about the National Park

This is the reason; it attained the status of a Tiger Reserve in the year 2007.
