Denmark was placed first in the World Competitiveness Index 2022, published on June 15, 2022. Switzerland has moved from first position to second position in the list of 63 countries. India has jumped six places in this year’s ranking from 43rd to 37th due to an increase in economic performance.

Indian batsman KL Rahul has dropped two places to 14th, while Shreyas Iyer and Rohit Sharma have dropped one place each to 16th and 17th, respectively. Virat Kohli has dropped two places and is ranked 21st in the ICC Men’s T20 batsmen ranking.
