The 2022 Annual Summit of the Heads of State Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will be held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from September 15-16, 2022. The country assumed the organization’s presidency from Tajikistan on September 17, 2021. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit the country for the summit, discussing the scope of future multilateral cooperation.
