On Wednesday, the Uttar Pradesh Public Utilities Commission (UPPSC) declared the final result of the Combined State Services/Senior Subordinate Examination-2021, commonly known as PCS-2021.

On Wednesday, the Uttar Pradesh Public Utilities Commission (UPPSC) declared the final result of the Combined Senior Subordinate/State Services Examination-2021, commonly known as PCS-2021.

UPPSC Secretary Alok Kumar informed that the Commission had declared 627 candidates as winners, facing 678 vacancies of 29 different types.

The Secretary said that the results had been made available on the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in for the benefit of the candidates.

For the remaining 51 vacancies, which include two Labor Compliance Officer posts and 49 Government Secondary School Head posts, no suitable candidates were found, and as a result, these posts became vacant.

The UPPSC secretary clarified that out of the total 627 declared winners, 120 candidates had done so provisionally due to a lack of documents, he shared.

Kumar said that soon the selection recommendation of the successful candidates would be sent to the state government. After that, the Commission would publish the details of the cut in posts and categories along with the qualifications obtained by the candidates on its official website.

The posts where candidates have been declared successful include Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Trade Tax), District Watch Commander, Treasury Officer/Accounts Officer (Treasury), and Cane Inspector and Assistant to Commissioner of Sugar, District Officer of Sugarcane UP, Agricultural Services Group “B” (Development Branch), Deputy Jailor, etc.

Officials said that out of these 29 different types of posts, the selection for a total of 55 posts of three types was based on written tests only. In comparison, for the remaining 26 types of posts also, the candidates had to qualify in the interview conducted by the Commission between July 21July 21. were required and August 5 August 2022.

The Commission had conducted PCS (Mains)-2021 between March 23-27, 2022, at established centres in Lucknow, Prayagraj and Ghaziabad in which a total of 5,957 candidates had applied. The PCS (Main)-2021 results were declared on July 12 and in which 1,285 candidates declared themselves qualified for the interview round. However, a total of 25 candidates did not appear for the interview.
