Oil India Limited intends to engage following personnel (domicile of Assam and its production & exploration areas of Arunachal Pradesh) purely on contractual basis for immediate engagement at Field Headquarters, Duliajan. The contractual engagement requirement mentioned hereunder may entail working in shifts involving arduous and hazardous nature of jobs in remote/far-flung OIL installations in the production and exploration areas and also on “On-Call” duty basis.

Name of the Post: Contractual Instrumentation Supervisor

  • No. of Posts: 05
  • Age: 18-38 years
  • Pay Scale: 19,500.00 (Rupees Nineteen Thousand and Five Hundred) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday, if any.
  • Qualification: Passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board. Passed 03 (Three) years Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering discipline from Government Recognized Institute. Must have minimum 02 (Two) years of post-qualification industrial experience preferably in operation and maintenance of production installations.

Name of the Post: Contractual Instrumentation Technician

  • No. of Posts: 10 nos.
  • Age: 18-33 years
  • Pay Scale: 16,640.00 (Rupees Sixteen Thousand Six Hundred and Forty) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday, if any.
  • Qualification: Passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board. Trade certificate in Instrument Mechanic / Electronics Mechanic trade from Government Recognized Institute. Must have minimum 02 (Two) years of post-qualification industrial experience preferably in operation and maintenance of production installations.

How to apply

(a) In view of the prevailing situation arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, all applicable guidelines/instructions/orders relating to the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic shall be strictly followed by the Government and thus, the Walk-in- Practical/Skill Test Co-Individual Assessment(s) may be delayed/extended/postponed/cancelled/cancelled as per Government guidelines. Therefore, interested candidates are advised to visit the OIL website regularly.

(b) The candidates are advised to strictly adhere to all the applicable guidelines/SOPs as per the extant instructions/orders issued by the Government regarding the situation of COVID-19 pandemic.

(c) Candidates are advised to take all necessary precautionary safety measures (wearing of masks, keeping hand sanitizers, maintaining social distancing and maintaining hygiene mandatory) while reporting for Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment. Will happen) . Also, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, candidates are advised to carry their own water bottle, refreshments etc., if required.

(d) If a candidate is found to be violating the strict norms/COVID-19 protocol laid down by the Government and also highlighted above, he/she will be debarred from appearing in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment. will be given. (S) / Walk-in-Practical / Skill Test cum Personal Assessment disqualified at any time during the process.

(e) Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for appearing for the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s). travel, accommodation etc.

(f) No TA/DA will be provided to any candidate(s) for appearing in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s).

(g) any false/fake/false declaration and/or information/details furnished and/or documents/certificates/testimonials and/or any adverse report of character and antecedents detected at any stage/time shall be verified from the appropriate authority under any circumstances and necessary action shall be taken in this regard as deemed fit.

(h) if a candidate is found guilty of any of the following mentioned below, such candidate, apart from rendering himself liable to criminal prosecution, shall also be liable to be disqualified for the above contractual engagement for which he/she is a candidate and has to abstain from any examination or examination conducted by OIL, either permanently or for a specified period, i.e. (i) using unfair means (ii) impersonating or impersonating any person (iii) a) misbehaving (iv) taking recourse in connection with his candidature for selection in any irregular or improper manner (v) obtaining support for his candidature by any unfair means.

(i) Canvassing in any form, directly or indirectly, will amount to rejection of the candidature.

(j) Engagement of selected candidates will be subject to necessary pre-engagement formalities. Documents / Certificates / Testimonials Checking, Submission of Required Documents / Certificates / Testimonials, Medical

fitness certificate etc. The candidates must be of sound health and must produce a fitness certificate from a Government registered medical practitioner at the time of engagement meeting the medical standards prescribed in the Physical Fitness Norms available on OIL’s website.

(k) Selected candidates will have to submit a character and antecedent verification certificate i.e. police verification certificate/report from the concerned authorities at the time of engagement.

(l) Candidates working in any organization, if selected, will have to submit release letter in original from the present employer at the time of engagement.

(m) The selected candidate(s) will have to arrange accommodation at his/her own cost during the period of above contract.

(n) The selected candidate may be posted at any place considered suitable by the Competent Authority.

(o) The above engagement is purely of contractual nature only. Accordingly, the above will not confer any right/claim on the candidates selected for employment in OIL INDIA LTD on the basis of contractual work.

(p) In addition to the above, any other terms and conditions/ terms and regulations/ policy and procedures shall also be applicable for the existing contractual engagement from time to time.
